Terms & Conditions for Executive Car Hire

Law:
The terms and conditions below and the agreement between Platinum Executive Cars and the customer are governed by English law.

Alteration:
Minor itinerary adjustments are free of charge.The company at its own discretion will determine the nature of any adjustments and alter the charges accordingly.

Waiting Time:
The first 10 minutes of waiting are included in our charges,there after we charge waiting time by 15 minute increments at the rates published in our tariff.Note that airport transfers are subject to extra charges at our discretion if waiting time is incurred due to circumstances outside of our control within the airport perimeter.

Hire Price:
We guarantee the cost of vehicle hire providing that the original itinerary at the time of booking has not been altered.

Insurances:
We are insured for passenger travel.This insurance is for public liability and does not constitute a travel insurance.

We do not except responsibility for:
Delays caused by adverse weather conditions any theft or damage to properties of any persons traveling within the contract except where such theft or damage is caused by a direct action of Platinum Executive Cars employees,any delays caused by strike action’acts of God or conflict or war or Force Majeure.

Disorderly Behaviour:
We reserve the right to refuse travel to anyone deemed to be a nuisance or danger to our passengers or employees and we may seek the help of the police to remove any such offenders from our vehicles and will not pay compensation or refunds in such circumstances.

Illegal Materials:
The carrying or use of any illegal substances in our vehicles is forbidden.

Pets:
Guide dogs are allowed but you must inform us at the time of booking

Smoking:
We observe a non-smoking policy in all our vehicles

Complaints:
If for some reason you are unhappy with our service you should in the first instance relay your concerns immediately to the driver who will try to rectify the issue on the spot however if the matter has not been resolved to your satisfaction please write to us within 14 days providing us with date and time of the incident and our booking reference number and outlining your concerns with regards to your journey we will attempt to resolve any issues amicably and as quickly as possible.

Use Of Vehicles:
Platinum Executive Cars make every effort to supply top quality vehicles however should such vehicles not be available we reserve the right to provide a similar alternative vehicle-this hire shall be known as sub-contract or sub-hire.

Cancellation:
Should you wish to cancel your vehicle the following notice charges will apply:
Over 24 hours / no charges will apply. 12 to 24 hours/ 25% of fee. 6 to 12 hours/ 50% of fee. 6 hours or less/full fee charged

Cancellation of Weddings and Special Events:
21 days or less /deposit paid is non refundable 7 days or less/full fee charged

In all the above cases you must obtain a cancellation reference number by calling or writing to us prior to the commencement time of the journey or events booked

Booking Deposit:
To guarantee weddings and special events booking we reserve the right to obtain a 25% non-refundable deposit with all balances being paid within 7 days of events.

All Pickups:
In the unlikely event that you can not locate the driver you must call us immediately on 0121-321-3211 and wait for our instructions-no refund will be given unless we have confirmed that the vehicle booked or an alternative one is unavailable

Any breech of the above Terms and Conditions could result in termination of your hire agreement with Platinum Executive Cars – we will not refund your costs or pay compensation in such an event.
